Bielefeld in the Teutoburg forest is the biggest city in the Ostwestfalen - Lippe Region in the federal state North Rhine - Westphalia in germany. It was founded in the year 1214 by Count Herrmann IV of Ravensberg as protection of a pass in the Teutoburg forest.
